Today my kidney kinda hurts.  Not a sharp pain, its more of an ache I guess.  I did go shopping yesterday and carried a few things (although I didn't think they were heavy) and did a lot of reaching for stuff on the shelves.  I'm hoping that's all it is - maybe my kidney is just stretching around in there getting all happy and settled.

I still have a funny kidney-shaped bulge on my right side.  I suppose it'll be there quite awhile.  I have to be careful about what kind of shorts/pants I wear because if they're too tight around my lower abdomen (you know, like how hipsters are tight?  yeah, that's all I wear...) then it makes my kidney feel squeezed.  Mostly when I'm home I either don't wear pants (I wear long night shirts or really big t-shirts, instead) or I wear really loose sweats or jammie pants.

Tomorrow will be exactly one month.  I also have an appointment for labs and with the doctor.  The last time he told me I wasn't drinking enough water and my creatinine had gone up to 1.2.  I'm hoping its at least stayed the same (or come down) because I've been trying hard to drink a lot more water.  Although now, my stomach (intestines?!) is messed up from the Myfortic. Since I've been on Cellcept before (long ago to treat my kidney disease before my kidneys failed) I've been surprised it hasn't hit me before now.  To put it delicately, food doesn't stay "in" very long, and it comes "out" with my lower abdomen protesting with every run I make to the bathroom.  Ugh.  At least I'm not sick to my stomach or throwing up...
